MY APPROACH
Starting or restarting therapy can sometimes feel daunting. I will do my best to create a safe space in which you can feel free to express yourself authentically, without fear of shame or judgment. You are in complete control of your therapeutic journey and can explore at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Together, we will discover your unique thoughts, feelings, fantasies, fears and desires. We can work toward making sense of your past and present experiences and understand what those experiences mean to you. We will take steps towards redefining and recreating your authentic self and working toward a life you want to have.
To best address your needs, I use a variety of perspectives and psychotherapeutic modalities, mostly integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness Interventions.
